Winners of Isra Quran Contest Announced
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Winners of a Quran contest held by the IRIB Quran TV were announced and awarded in a ceremony this week.
The ceremony, hosted by the Kish Island, was attended a number of officials and Quranic figures.
The competition, named Isra, was held in various categories, including imitation of recitations by top Qaris of the Islamic world, prayer recitation, and eulogy recitation.
Men and women in different age groups took part in the Quranic event.
A number of top Quran experts, including Reza Bokaei, Mohammad Reza Pourzargari, Qassem Raziei, Mohammad Reza Poormoin and Raheleh Aminian were the members of the panel of judges.
The closing ceremony is going to be broadcast on the IRIB Quran TV in the coming days.
